Small plane crash kills 3 in North Texas, authorities say: Investigation launched

Three people died in a plane crash near Poolville, Texas, west of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The crash involved a Cessna C310 airplane traveling from Carrizo Springs to Bridgeport.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the incident.

An investigator is en route to the scene for further examination.

The NTSB wrote in a statement, “An NTSB investigator is en route to the scene and is expected to arrive tomorrow morning. Once on site, the investigator will begin the process of documenting the scene and examining the aircraft.”

“The aircraft will then be recovered to a secure facility for further evaluation,” the agency continued.
