“In election after election, democracy and freedom are mobilizing issues for the American people,” Biden’s deputy campaign manager Rob Flaherty stated.
“In 2024, that will be no different, and we are encouraged by the strong grassroots enthusiasm we are seeing around the president’s core campaign message.”
Biden emphasized the stakes of a potential rematch against Trump and highlighted the significance of democracy in the upcoming election.
Trump responded by accusing Biden of fearmongering and claimed that Biden was focusing on democracy because he couldn’t run on other issues.
