American authorities announced the arrest of three individuals connected to the January 6, 2021 assault on the US Capitol.
Jonathan Pollock, Olivia Pollock, and Joseph Hutchinson were apprehended in Florida and are facing multiple charges, including assaulting and resisting civil servants.

The Capitol riot has led to around 1,300 people being charged, with some facing more serious charges like seditious conspiracy.
Former President Donald Trump, who is seeking a second term, is facing felony charges related to the assault, and the Supreme Court will hear a case on his eligibility for a second term.
“Jonathan Pollock is accused by federal authorities of helping breach a barricade and assaulting officers, grabbing one by the waist and pulling the officer down the stairs, punching another in the face, and stealing another officer’s police shield.”
