Mike Roman, a co-defendant with former President Donald Trump in the Georgia election case, has filed a motion alleging an “improper” relationship between Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade.
Roman’s attorneys claim that Willis and Wade had a romantic relationship and used funds paid by the county for exotic vacations.
The motion seeks to have the charges against Roman dismissed and disqualify Willis, Wade, and the entire DA’s office from further prosecution. (Trending: Joe Biden Sets New Presidential Record)

The filing lacks concrete proof of the romantic ties, and Willis’s office intends to respond through legal filings.
The motion also argues that Willis and Wade should be kicked off the case due to alleged conflicts of interest and misuse of public funds.
This development adds to the irregularities in Willis’s handling of the case, which has also involved leaked indictments and reliance on “fake news.”
Additionally, Trump faces state criminal charges in Georgia and New York, federal criminal charges in D.C. and Florida, and a civil fraud case in New York.
