Honda has unveiled a new electric vehicle series set to launch in 2026, featuring a futuristic concept car and a larger SUV-style model.
The company aims to introduce a commercial model based on the Saloon in the United States and is working on achieving 100% electrified vehicle sales by 2040.
Additionally, Honda is collaborating with General Motors on a driverless taxi service, with plans to introduce self-driving vehicles into urban environments in the late 2020s. (Trending: Fox News Star Accused Of Major Scandal)

Shinji Aoyama, Honda’s global vice president, said, “We have gone back to basics and formulated the Honda 0 Series with a design for the new era.”
“A bold and pure proportion that from the first glance is overwhelmingly different from other EVs to evoke a new perspective for people,” he continued.
“Honda CEO Toshihiro Mibe said, “We’re thinking of sometime in the late 2020s for introducing self-driving vehicles into an urban environment.”
GM’s self-driving car subsidiary, Cruise, has faced scrutiny and operational challenges following safety issues.
