Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized Nikki Haley while campaigning for Trump in Iowa, highlighting Haley’s surge in popularity and potential impact on the 2024 Republican primary.
Greene described Haley as a “neo-con” and criticized her immigration stance.
She defended Trump’s campaign strategy and criticized Biden’s focus on Jan. 6, emphasizing that people are more concerned about other issues. (Trending: Hollywood A-Listers Revealed In Epstein Court Documents)
“I think you’re seeing her surge,” Greene said.
“DeSantis has fallen off, and some of the people that were supporting DeSantis may be turning to Nikki Haley. But Nikki Haley’s going to lose as well, so she’s not anything to worry about.”
“Oh my gosh. She doesn’t even want you to call illegal aliens criminals,” Greene said in reference to previous comments of Haley. “How dare you! That might insult the migrants.”
“She’s up there in New Hampshire saying, ‘We’ve got to fix what Iowa does. They’re going to vote for President Trump,'” she added.
“Goodness. That wasn’t very good. That wasn’t very smart, but, you know, ‘birdbrain.’ Whatever.”
“People don’t care. Everyone’s over it,” Greene said.
“No matter how much the media wants to shove Jan. 6, and no matter how much the Democrats want to talk about Jan. 6, all of these people right here, I guarantee you, they remember [Black Lives Matter] riots.”
“I don’t hear anybody talking about revenge,” she said.
“I only hear that for y’all that come with those questions. President Trump is excited to get back in the White House. He’s excited to bring his policies back and also the new plans that he has, and all of us can’t wait for him to get there.”
Greene also expressed confidence in House Republicans’ ability to impeach DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
