House Republicans released records showing then-Vice President Joe Biden emailed his son’s close business associate 54 times, some while Biden was in Ukraine and his son served on Burisma’s board.
Most emails were before Hunter Biden joined Burisma, and a former business partner suggested Biden’s inclusion was about gaining influence.
The associate, Eric Schwerin, was a financial advisor to the Biden family. (Trending: Judge Announces Historic Ruling In Jeffrey Epstein Case)
The White House referred to statements about Schwerin’s role, and he has been part of GOP-led investigations into Biden’s alleged involvement in his son’s business.
Hunter Biden’s ex-wife, admitted Eric Schwerin “managed almost every aspect of our financial life.”
According to Fox News, “Schwerin visited the White House at least 27 times while Biden was serving as vice president.”
These revelations challenge Biden’s previous claims about non-involvement and raise concerns about potential conflicts of interest.
“President Joe Biden claimed there was an ‘absolute wall’ between his official government duties and his family’s influence peddling schemes,” said House Oversight Chair James Comer.
“This was a lie,” added Comer.
