A British boy who went missing in 2017 during a vacation in Spain was found in France at a spiritualist mountain commune.

Alex Batty, now 17, was discovered in southern France and reported fleeing the commune.

He was last seen with his mother and grandfather, who did not have guardianship at the time. (Trending: Devastating News For Hunter Biden After Defying Subpoena)

The family was believed to have traveled from Spain to Morocco.

“The reason I believe they have done this is because basically my lifestyle, my belief systems, are not what they agree with — just simply living day-to-day, how normal people do,” grandmother Susan Caruana said.

“They didn’t want him to go to school, they don’t believe in mainstream school.”

A truck driver found Alex hitchhiking and he explained to the police that he had been living in the commune but decided to leave.

Authorities are preparing to return him to England for a criminal investigation into his disappearance.
