Rep. Jasmine Crockett criticized House Republicans for advancing an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden without any hard evidence of wrongdoing.
She questioned the need for a vote to authorize the inquiry and accused Rep. James Comer of “saying the quiet part out loud” by mentioning Hunter Biden’s defiance of a subpoena.
Crockett called for transparency and criticized Republicans’ tactics, arguing that they do not represent democracy. (Trending: Dr. Fauci Says the Unthinkable About Going To Church)
Crockett: The math ain’t mathin especially when you consider the fact that the previous Speaker, and who knows how many Speakers we’re going to have.. the previous Speaker said we don’t need a vote. So now all of the sudden you do need a vote? What changed? pic.twitter.com/JSItgW5u6R

“The math ain’t mathing, especially when you consider the fact that the previous speaker ― and who knows how many speakers we’re going to have ―” Crockett said.
“The previous speaker said, ‘Oh no, we don’t need a vote. We don’t need a vote on the impeachment inquiry.’ So now, all of a sudden, you do need a vote? Tell me, what’s changed?”
“As we were sitting in that room with an empty chair, it’s amazing how quiet Comer was,” Crockett said.
“Now he goes out on Faux News and everybody else, and he has a lot to say,” she added.
“He decided that he wanted to go on the news and he wanted to say that he didn’t want Hunter Biden to testify publicly, because… he didn’t want us to have an opportunity to engage in questioning. Now you tell me if that’s what democracy looks like.”
