House Republicans are preparing for the upcoming election, focusing on maintaining and expanding their slim majority in the lower chamber of Congress.

The National Republican Congressional Committee announced a record fundraising of $9 million in November, totaling $41.4 million in cash.

NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson said, “House Republicans stepped up to the plate and helped the Committee hit a fundraising grand slam — led by Speaker [Mike] Johnson and our incredible leadership team.”

“With partners like this and an incredible political environment, extreme House Democrats should dread yet another cycle in the minority,” continued Hudson.

“You have to have perfect attendance, which is hard to get. And you have to have perfect agreement, which is damn hard to get,” he added.

The Democratic Party’s fundraising arm has reported $47 million in cash, indicating a tough and expensive fight ahead.

The 2024 stakes are high, extending beyond the presidential race, and the battle for control of the House will be significant.

Neither Party wants to be minority after the next electioncycle.

“It just makes everything harder. It’s just that simple,” admitted Oklahoma GOP Rep. Tom Cole.
