This move is seen as part of Trump’s ongoing campaign, which has focused on claims of electoral fraud and Biden’s alleged role in it.

According to The Washington Post, a senior Trump adviser told the outlet, “President Trump is turning the tables, We are not going to allow Joe Biden and the Democrats to gaslight the American public.”
The Trump campaign reported passed out placards before a recent rally that said, “Biden attacks Democracy” and also flashed the words on a big screen above Trump as he said it.
Additionally, Trump’s push for Biden’s impeachment is seen as a tactic to neutralize his own impeachments.

This strategy reflects Trump’s instinctive understanding of projecting his own flaws onto his rivals and criticizing them for it.
