The Never Trump movement looks to be gaining momentum as Nikki Haley has been backed by Charles Koch’s network as the top choice to challenge Trump in the GOP primary.
Supporters believe the endorsement could potentially consolidate support behind Haley, and weaken Trump’s lead in the polls.

“AFP Action is proud to throw our full support behind Nikki Haley, who offers America the opportunity to turn the page on the current political era, to win the Republican primary and defeat Joe Biden next November,” AFP Action senior adviser Emily Seidel wrote.
“I just think that the path to that happening is extraordinarily narrow for her even with this latest endorsement,” Republican strategist and pollster Sarah Longwell said.
“I just know from talking to Republican voters week in, week out, that they still want Trump,” she added.
Despite the potential appeal of a fresh face, Haley will undoubtedly face significant challenges in winning the GOP nomination and succeeding in the general election.
