Donald Trump will be the final witness for the defense in his civil fraud trial, with his testimony scheduled for December 11.
The trial, brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James, accuses Trump and his co-defendants of inflating his assets for financial gain.
Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., will also testify for the defense on December 6. The case has been criticized by Trump as a witch hunt and politically biased. (Trending: Chilling Surveillance Program Under Biden Exposed)
Trump’s legal team has expressed concerns about the trial dates and indicted it as election interference.
They are prepared to litigate the case and argue that it’s impossible for one person to be in four different places.
Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba said, “We’re prepared,” when asked about all of the cases that Trump is facing.
“From here we actually get to litigate the case, which as an attorney I look forward to, and I know our legal team does as well, to get to take our own turn at looking at all of the information and our own turn to put our side out, which is something that everybody needs to remember hasn’t happened as of yet, explained Habba.
“Four indictments are simply that: an indictment, which is just one-sided B.S., for a lack of a better word, on their political scheme to interfere with the leading candidate for president,” remarked the attorney.
“Let’s be clear,” said Habba, “the Jack Smiths and the Fani Willises and the D.A. Braggs and the Letitia Jameses, if they could have it their way, would have all trials the same week, predicted Trump’s attorney.
“It’s unrealistic, it’s ridiculous, and it’s obvious,” alleged Habba.
“So what I think is happening is the judges will have to fight it amongst themselves. You cannot have one defendant in multiple cases,” explained Habba.
Habba plans to show that the government’s prosecutors and judges are complicit in using the trials to stop Trump from running for President and therefore, cannot be seen as fair and unbiased.
