Swimmer Meghan Cortez-Fields, a transgender woman, has officially broken records after moving from the men’s swim team to the women’s team at Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Cortez-Fields won first place and set a school record in the 100-yard butterfly and also achieved success in other events.
“Meghan Cortez-Fields won first place and broke a school record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.22 at the Cougar Splash Invitational, a two-day meet between six schools in Dallas, Pennsylvania,” Fox News wrote.
