Iowa’s Board of Regents approved ten recommendations to reverse Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices in universities, including eliminating non-essential DEI functions and reviewing DEI positions.

They also banned the requirement for DEI statements and preferred pronouns at public universities.

Additionally, the Supreme Court overturned affirmative action in college admissions, ruling that it was unconstitutional under the Fourteenth Amendment and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

This decision was supported by former President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court appointees.
