Harvard Poll: 6 in 10 Voters Say Owning Gun Part of Self-Defense

A recent Harvard/Harris poll found that 60% of voters believe owning a gun is necessary for self-protection, with 42% saying crime is getting worse in their community.

The poll also revealed that a majority of voters across party lines view owning a gun as necessary, with 54% of Democrats, 77% of Republicans, and 56% of independents agreeing.

Additionally, the majority of voters (55%) believe “woke politicians” are responsible for the increase in crime, and 67% support removing district attorneys who are perceived as soft on crime.
