Spanish police have arrested three people in connection to the shooting of a Spanish politician, but the gunman remains at large.
The attack took place earlier this month as the politician walked home from church, and the suspects were arrested in southern Spain.
The gunman, who remains unidentified, shot the politician in the face and then fled on a motorcycle.

The politician survived and is recovering.
The motive for the attack is unclear, but terrorism is being considered as a possibility.
Iran has been linked to the attack due to the politician’s involvement in the Iranian opposition.
