Former first lady Rosalynn Carter’s three-day funeral will be celebrated in Atlanta and Sumter County, Georgia.
The funeral arrangements include a wreath-laying ceremony, repose service, tribute service, and interment at the Carter family residence.
The public is invited to pay their respects along the motorcade route and by signing condolence books at various locations.
“Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything I ever accomplished,” Jimmy Carter stated.
“She gave me wise guidance and encouragement when I needed it. As long as Rosalynn was in the world, I always knew somebody loved and supported me.”
Rosalynn Carter will be laid to rest in the family plot at the Jimmy Carter National Historical Park.
