A bicorne hat once worn by Napoleon Bonaparte was sold for 1.5 million Euros (approximately $1,641,700) at an auction, exceeding its initial valuation of $650,000 to $870,000.

The final price, including commission fees, totaled around $2.1 million.

The hat, a symbol of the Napoleonic era, was part of a collection that also included swords, coins, and firearms.

The sale took place in Fontainebleau, France, and the winning bidder remains anonymous.
