At a rally in Iowa, Donald Trump claimed he has the “great honor” of having a disease named after him, referring to “Trump derangement syndrome,” a term used by his supporters to describe those who criticize him.
Trump has previously tweeted about the “syndrome,” attributing it to people who dislike his relationship with President Putin of Russia.
“Every sane person, without what they call Trump derangement syndrome—do you know what that is? It’s a great honor, I had a disease named after me: Trump derangement syndrome—wants to get back to how great we had it under the Trump administration,” the former President said.

“Some people HATE the fact that I got along well with President Putin of Russia. They would rather go to war than see this. It’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome!” he posted in 2016.
