Anti-Israel protesters in Washington, DC, attempted to storm the White House during a large demonstration.
They chanted slogans calling for the destruction of Israel and a Palestinian state.
The protesters also called for a ceasefire in Gaza and an end to US aid to Israel.

Some protesters vandalized war memorials in the vicinity of the White House.
There were similarities to the Black Lives Matter riots of May 2020.
Senator Mike Lee noted the contrasting treatment of pro-Palestinian protesters and conservatives.

The protesters also expressed resentment towards President Joe Biden for supporting Israel’s war effort against Hamas.
