Former acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal mocked Donald Trump Jr.’s “I don’t recall” claims and suggested that he was either misleading the judge or lacked business knowledge.

Katyal joked saying that he was either, “choosing to mislead the judge, the public about his business knowledge, or he came awfully close to, I guess, flunking out of Wharton.”

It’s “really convenient how Don Jr. seems to have forgotten information that could be damaging to him,” Katyal continued.

“And it kind of looks like he’s intentionally decided to play dumb here, which might be a nice change of pace for him.”

Katyal criticized the Trump family for being “allergic to telling the truth” and highlighted that the basis of the case against them is that they lied about their assets.

“I mean, the entire basis of this case is that they lied about their assets,” he pressed.

He predicted that the upcoming week would be tough for the Trumps as Donald Trump, Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump would have to testify under penalty of perjury.
