Donald Trump Jr. testified in the fraud case brought by the New York Attorney General against Trump Organization executives.

The case revolves around the statements of financial condition (SFC) for the Trump Organization.

Trump Jr. stated that he relied on the expertise of accountants hired by the organization for the preparation of the SFCs. (Trending: Judge Declines To Recuse From Trump 2024 Ballot Case)

“These people had incredibly intimate knowledge. I relied on them,” he stated. “The accountants worked on it. That’s what we paid them for.”

He also mentioned that he could have been involved in discussions that led to specific numbers without knowing they were for an SFC. Trump Jr. and his father, former President Donald Trump, were indicted in the case.

The trial is ongoing, and Trump Jr.’s testimony will continue. Ivanka Trump was ordered to testify but appealed the decision.

“Since 2018, she’s been there once or twice a year, never for business, to say hello, to people including family members for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, things like that.” (Trending: It’s Time For Donald Trump To Drop Out)

“So there is no basis to say a service on an entity at Trump Tower is service on her individually. That’s just wrong,” he added.

Earlier, an expert witness testified that banks lost out on millions of dollars in interest due to the SFC numbers.

Defense attorneys argued against the testimony, stating that the gains were not “ill-gotten.”

The expert confirmed he was not familiar with specific credit policies of Deutsche Bank, which lent money to the Trump Organization.

“Leave my children alone, Engoron. You are a disgrace to the legal profession!” former President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social.
