Mohamed Hadid, the father of supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid, faced backlash for an Instagram post comparing the Israeli government to Nazis.

The post included an infographic highlighting supposed similarities between the two, such as the expulsion of millions from their homes and the enforcement of collective punishments.

Mohamed Hadid has been vocal about his stance on the conflict in Gaza, calling for a ceasefire. (Trending: Joe Biden Historic Take Down of Guns)

However, he received criticism from social media users who questioned the effectiveness of a ceasefire and accused him of being biased.

He wrote, “Both [Nazis and Israel] added and labeled the victims as Terrorists.. regardless of their peacefulness of other activities. Some Palestinians and some Jews even changed their names.”

Social media users reacted negatively to Hadid’s statement.

One person stated, “Deport him,” while another said, “Rich coming from a well know con-artist who doesn’t pay his bills.” (Trending: Donald Trump Is A ‘Cockroach’ That Just Won’t Go Away)

This incident follows previous controversies involving Gigi and Bella Hadid’s views on Israel and Palestine.
