Rock musician Lenny Kravitz has been celibate for nine years as part of a spiritual journey.
He says this discipline was influenced by witnessing his father cheat on his mother, which led Lenny to also have casual relationships after his marriage to Lisa Bonet ended in 1991.
Now at age 60, Kravitz feels set in his celibate lifestyle and is waiting to find the right woman for a serious relationship before being sexually active again.
“It’s a spiritual thing. I’ve become very set in my ways, in the way I live,” Kravitz said.
He dates less and is focused on not letting desires control him.
While known as a heartthrob who dated stars like Vanessa Paradis and was engaged to Adriana Lima and Nicole Kidman, Kravitz now seems content remaining celibate as he continues his search for the long-term partner with whom he wouldrestart his sex life.
CBS host Gayle King recently flirted with him but only time will tell if he finds the woman to change his celibate ways.
