Meghan Markle is working on two new shows for Netflix as part of her and Prince Harry’s production deal.
One is a cooking show that will follow Markle as she shares recipes, entertainment tips, and focus on friendship.
“Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple, have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection,” the Duke and Duchess stated in 2020. “Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.”
It does not yet have a title or release date. Markle has experience in food through writing a cookbook foreword and surprising followers with the launch of her lifestyle brand “American Riviera Orchard.”
The brand is trademarked for home and cooking products like jams and tableware.
Markle sent jars of her homemade strawberry jam to friends, signaling the brand launch.
While details are sparse, Markle’s cooking show appears to coincide with promoting her new brand and interests in food, gardening, and homemaking through storytelling on television.
