In a statement, Bonk said the school follows the law. “Under state and federal laws (including Title IX and New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act), school districts are required to provide access to transgender students to the restroom of the sex with which they identify, which may not be the student’s sex assigned at birth,” he said.

“The District is fully aware of its obligations to its transgender population (as well as to the entirety of the student body) under these laws and remains fully committed to protecting these students and ensuring that they can safely access these rights,” the statement said.

“I was personally present at the school during the protest and the students had the opportunity to exercise their free speech rights to express their positions in a manner which is both respectful, safe, and in accordance with the requirements of the School District and governmental authorities,” he said.

“Transgender” is not addressed by Title IX, which was entirely focused on opportunities for biological women. Forcing biological females to compete against, share locker rooms with and use bathrooms with biological males however they may identify is not in keeping with Title IX in any way. Mr Bonk lies when he says they are in full compliance and following the precepts of Title IX. These practices violate both the spirit and the letter of Title IX.

Use of bathrooms, locker rooms and athletic sports should be defined by the persons sex when born. The anatomy may have been changed due to surgeries, but that does not change one’s hormones, muscular or skeletal strength. Biological men are by nature stronger than women. It is unfair to women’s sport to have biological men playing against biologial women. If they want to compete in a Chess match or another game of the mind, that is fine, but not where physical strength is a key factor to winning.

I think that seperate batherooms are reasonable, males and females who are born as such deserve privacy also. They are not confused.

What is the definition of a woman? A woman is defined by her chromosomes. A woman has 2 X chromosomes. A male has an X and a Y chromosome. Your gender is set, in stone, at birth. You are either a male or a female. nYou are an XX or an XY. There is no transgender chromosome. When these children are made to feel that they are in the wrong biological body by the adults(?) who influence them this is a form of sexual exploitation, child endangerment and child abuse in particular. If a girl wants to play on the girls’ team she should have to demonstrate that she has 2 X chromosomes. If she cannot demonstrate that she has 2 X chromosomes, then she has to play on the male team against males. A person’s sex and gender is not determined by a person’s thought patterns. Why? Because these children may not always feel like they are in the wrong gender/body when they grow up. Their thought patterns will change as they age. Transgenderism is an adult fetish that is being forced upon our children without parental consent. As far as using the bathroom…never in my long life would I ever, under any circumstances, permit a male child to use the female bathroom. My female daughter deserves better from her school administrators then being assaulted with male nudity in school and at such a young and innocent stage in her life. Mixing our children in this manner is perverted. It strikes at the heart of normalcy. Every school administrator, teacher and school employee who promotes this sexual exploitation of our children needs to be fired and charged with child abuse. It is an immoral act to force our male children into our children’s female restrooms. Finally, ask the children how they feel about the issue. You may find that the children just want to be children. They just want to be normal. It’s the adults who are mentally ill.

      Dr. Who,
I agree with your published statement. It covers many areas of the brokenness, which our educational systems have readily accepted. Our communities’ need to stand firm against these backward principles. There, should be no justification for any allowance, against the health of our youth and moral standards.
