There is a clear double standard in how Ezra Miller and Gina Carano have been treated despite differing levels of controversy.

Miller has faced numerous legal issues over a decade, including choking a woman, disorderly conduct charges, burglary, and allegations of housing underage individuals unsafely.

However, Miller faced little backlash and was still prominently featured in the recent Flash movie and voice work for Invincible, from which they were quietly replaced.

By contrast, Carano faced intense outrage and smears leading to her firing from The Mandalorian over social media posts deemed offensive, though not illegal.

A lawsuit ensued. While Miller has been quietly dismissed from roles, Carano continues to be publicly dragged.

The disparity suggests those who identify as non-binary or mentally ill, like Miller, receive more leniency despite objectively more severe transgressions, representing a double standard that should be called out.
