Conservatives criticized President Biden for declaring Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day of Visibility,” arguing it inappropriately replaces a Christian holiday with a secular celebration and shows hostility toward faith.
Biden’s proclamation urged recognizing transgender lives and protecting them from violence, but conservatives saw it as banning religious symbols from the White House celebration in favor of transgender flags.
They asserted the day commemorates Jesus’ resurrection, not transgender visibility, and accused Biden of attacking Christians through such actions and in response to issues like abortion protests.
“Biden is banning religious symbols from Easter celebrations at the White House, while flying the trans flag and declaring Easter Sunday to be ‘Trans Visibility Day,” Donald Trump Jr. wrote. “This is the left’s new religion. They want people worshiping the trans flag instead of God. They must be stopped.”
“I have as low an opinion of Biden as you can possibly have and yet this is so outrageously evil that I had to check to make sure it was real. It is,” Daily Wire host Matt Walsh said. “Our ‘catholic’ president has chosen the highest holiday on the Christian calendar to celebrate transgenderism. This man is a demon.”
“The excuse will be that ‘Transgender Day of Visibility’ is a fixed ‘holiday’ that always falls on March 31. The problem with that excuse is that the president does not need to issue any proclamation recognizing it and no president has recognized it until Biden two years ago. He may not decide the date for this fake [expletive] holiday but he does decide to officially proclaim it,” Walsh said.
“Another purposeful slam on faith from a White House that demeaned the Christian victims of the trans terrorist attack in Nashville,” conservative Dana Loesch wrote. “No. It’s Resurrection Day. Easter Sunday. We do not acknowledge idols.”
“Joe Biden replacing Easter with ‘trans day of visibility’ while banning the [cross] from the White House egg hunt — sick and demonic,” congressional candidate Blake Masters wrote. “But we know who wins in the end — indeed today is the day our Lord descended into Hades and gained the final victory over Death. Glory to Jesus Christ!”
“How any Christian in their right mind can justify voting for Joe Biden is beyond me,” conservative Greg Price wrote.
“President Biden has announced that Easter Sunday is now ‘Trans Day of Visibility,’ pushing the toxic lie that one can be born in the ‘wrong body’ & it’s ‘healthcare’ to mutilate one’s body,” pro-life activist Lila Rose wrote. “Speak out loudly against this evil, which is destroying a whole generation of kids.”
