Jackson Mahomes, brother of NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes, received six months of unsupervised probation after pleading no contest to a simple battery charge.

The case involved multiple charges including aggravated sexual battery, but those were dropped.

“Jackson is thankful for the support of his family and friends during the last year. Jackson pled no contest to a single count of simple battery and he was given six months of unsupervised probation,” attorney Brandan Davies said.

“Jackson simply wanted the case to be over with and to move on with his life, the matter is now closed and we will not be issuing any further statements.”

Patrick Mahomes is a successful quarterback with two Super Bowl wins and two MVP titles.

His father was also recently arrested for suspected driving while intoxicated.
