Megyn Kelly expressed regret on her show about her past support for allowing underage gender transition surgeries and therapies.

She became emotional acknowledging she was misinformed and may have contributed to the problem.

Kelly cited stories of individuals like Isabelle Ayala, who transitioned at a young age but now regret it and are speaking out about the lifelong consequences.

“I’ve realized now that I was part of this problem. My heart was in the right place. I wasn’t trying to push anything bad on kids. I thought I was being supportive of them,” she said.

“I thought I was promoting anti-bullying. Now I have such regret about it.”

Kelly’s public acknowledgment that she may have been wrong to promote surgery as a solution for struggling youth won praise from followers for demonstrating honesty and a willingness to spread a more balanced message on an issue of importance.

“I just really don’t want this to happen to other vulnerable young girls,” Isabelle Ayala, who previously underwent surgery, said. “I don’t want puberty to be the enemy. I don’t want our natural biology to be the enemy.”

“Good for her! More people need to understand. She has a huge following. It’s important she spread the right message, and that is sticking up for the truth,” wrote one follower.

“I have nothing but respect for Megyn Kelly. I also have a great deal of respect for Katlyn Jenner. Both exhibit honesty and balance. it is the use of false victimhood for political leverage that is reprehensible,” another said.

The segment showed Kelly’s commitment to sharing unvarnished opinions on social issues that resonate with conservatives but are willing to reexamine past positions.
