Ahead of the State of the Union address, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene confronted President Biden while wearing a MAGA hat and shirt honoring slain student Laken Riley.
As they exchanged words, Biden appeared surprised with Democrats trying to steer him away.
“I know how to say her name,” Biden said as Greene handed him a pin.
Though the conversation was unclear, Greene could be heard saying “her name is Laken Riley” as Biden ignored her.
“Laken Riley,” Greene said. “Say her name Mr. President.”
Riley was killed by an illegal immigrant who was released from custody and allowed to travel to New York and Georgia despite other crimes due to sanctuary policies.
Greene later handed Biden a pin for Riley, to which he said he knew her name, but when Greene said “say her name,” Biden smirked and walked away, highlighting tensions over immigration policy and the victimization of Americans.
