Several Taylor Swift fans were left furious after paying hundreds of dollars for concert tickets only to discover their seats had no clear view of the stage.
One fan paid nearly $700 for tickets in Melbourne but found her line of sight blocked by a large tower structure.
“We missed more of the concert as we raced around to the new seats, and while we made the best of things, it definitely impacted our experience,” one fan said.
Others were also obstructed, including a VIP ticket holder whose view was blocked by a crew tent.
The upset fans complained to venue staff but received no assistance, having to find new seats themselves which caused them to miss parts of the show.
“POV: You pay $800 per ticket for VIP Taylor Swift tickets and you can’t see the stage. Ticktek pls explain,” one fan said.
The experience damaged their enjoyment and demonstrated issues with expensive tickets not delivering the expected experience of being able to properly see the performer.
