The Houston Police Department released bodycam footage showing officers responding to and neutralizing the February 11th attacker at Lakewood Church.
The 36-year-old female attacker, identified as Genesse Moreno who previously identified as Jeffrey Escalante, brought a long gun and her young son into the church.
Footage shows officers taking defensive positions when she began shooting, then quickly moving in on her.

Her son appeared wounded on the ground.
The alleged shooter was killed by police while two others, including her son, were injured.
They had a criminal record including previous arrests for assault, forgery, weapons charges and evading arrest.
KHOU 11 reported the alleged shooter had previous “arrests…[for] failure to stop and give information, assault of a public servant, assault causing bodily injury, forgery, possession of marijuana, theft, evading arrest unlawful carrying weapon.”
