A transgender activist was arrested after video showed him violently assaulting a group of pro-life college students participating in Virginia’s annual March for Life.

Noah Cleveland was seen on video charging at the marchers while holding a transgender flag, ripping down signs and shoving multiple people.

He was arrested and faces disorderly conduct charges. According to witnesses, Cleveland is known for hostile conduct at pro-life events.

Video captured him sprinting into the march, knocking glasses off heads and dashing through a sign before police detained him.

Students For Life Action Government Affairs Coordinator Savanna Deretich said, “He came rushing forward chanting something, and I knew he was going to attack, so I pulled my phone to record.”

She continued, “He sprinted up to our people, knocked the glasses off people’s heads, dashed through our march sign and kept running.”

The attack occurred near the end of the march as students chanted slogans in support of abolishing abortion.

Kelsey McCormack, a student at Liberty University, said, “We were nearing the end of the march and chanting ‘We are the pro-life generation’ and ‘we will abolish abortion’ with our megaphones.”

“Then I see the trans activist running and jumping, and waving the flag, come smash into the group and go after the big banner,” recalled the student.
