Jose Antonio Ibarra has been identified as the suspect in the murder of 22-year-old Laken Riley on the University of Georgia campus.
Ibarra lives in Athens but is not a UGA student and is reported to not be a U.S. citizen, according to police chief Jeff Clark.
Clark noted Ibarra has an extensive criminal history.
Even though Laken Riley was savagely beaten by Venezuelan illegal immigrant Jose Antonio Ibarra until her skull was disfigured, Congresswoman Katie Porter (Dem-CA) says we shouldn’t make too big a deal about it. Thoughts?#BorderInvasion #BidenMurders pic.twitter.com/rKZLnYHpiv

If accurate that Ibarra is a Venezuelan migrant, as a retired NYPD inspector commented, it suggests Venezuela’s leader Maduro is following Castro’s strategy of exporting criminals to the U.S.
Meanwhile, migrant programs continue admitting people with “special status”, shedding light on the need to reconsider such policies.
Marty, the girls, and I were truly shaken and heartbroken to learn of Laken Riley’s tragic death.
Tonight, we’re thankful the @GBI_GA, @accpolice, @universityofga police and other partners have taken her murderer into custody. We will not rest until justice for Laken is secured.
