A recent Rasmussen Reports survey found that 66% of voters believe parents should be notified if their children are being taught in schools that the United States was founded on racism and white supremacy.

Conversely, just 22% did not think such notification was necessary, while 11% were unsure.

The poll also showed 56% of voters believe teachers and public schools should embrace patriotic values, compared to 27% who disagreed and 17% who were unsure.

The survey of 1,000 registered voters was conducted over two days in early February and weighted to reasonably reflect the national population while maintaining a margin of error of +/- 3.1 percentage points.

The findings indicate most voters want transparency around certain teachings in schools and support for patriotic values.
