A pro-Trump trucker influencer calling himself Chicago Ray posted a video claiming to have spoken to at least 10 truckers who will refuse loads to New York City starting Monday, in response to a court ruling ordering Trump to pay $355 million in damages for fraud.

Trump endorsed the campaign on his Truth Social platform. Ray said 95-96% of truckers support Trump and see the prosecution as election interference.

Trump wrote, “Such an honor to have so many Great Patriots on the side of FREEDOM!”

“Joe Biden’s Unfair and Dangerous Weaponization of Law Enforcement is a serious threat to Democracy. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he continued.

“Trump just posted my video and picture on his Truth Social account, pretty fucken cool,” celebrated Chicago Ray.

Ray previously said, “I’ve been on the radio talking to drivers for about the last hour… and I’ve talked to at least ten drivers… And they’re going to start refusing loads to New York City starting on Monday.”

“I don’t know how far across the country this is, or how many truckers are gonna start denying loads going to New York City,” he continued.

“But I’ll tell you what, you [expletive] around and find out, OK? We’re tired of you [expletive] leftists [expletive] with Trump.”

It remains unclear if the campaign will significantly disrupt goods flows, as the claims currently rely solely on Ray’s video which gained over 6 million views.

In 2022, American truckers staged a “People’s Convoy” protest in DC against COVID mandates, though with limited impact.

The latest campaign coincides with other recent legal losses for Trump in New York courts totaling millions in fines.

Judge Arthur Engoron also banned Trump “from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation or other legal entity in New York for a period of three years,” in addition to the fines.
