Thousands of Israelis rallied in front of government buildings, demanding victory in the war against Hamas and urging Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reject any hostage deal allowing Hamas to survive.
The demonstration celebrated IDF reservists, including those who volunteered to fight despite being considered too old to serve.
Many speakers, who had lost family members in battle, emphasized the importance of fighting for victory and not accepting a weak ceasefire that leaves Hamas intact.

Itzik Bontzel said, “You don’t negotiate with enemies, you defeat them.”
Rabbi Benny Kalmanson added, “We either have leaders who will win, or we will have neighbors who are murdered.”
The rally coincided with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit, during which he pressured Israel to accept a deal with Hamas, drawing criticism from rally speakers who rejected external influence on Israel’s decisions.
