Conservative radio host Jesse Kelly has openly admitted to being the individual referenced by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), who claimed that a “popular commentator” threatened to “destroy” him over an immigration bill.
Lankford stated that the commentator vowed to thwart any efforts to solve the border crisis before the presidential election.
An unnamed “popular commentator” had “told me flat out, ‘If you try to move a bill that solves the border crisis during this presidential year, I will do whatever I can to destroy you because I do not want you to solve this before the presidential election,’” Lankford said.
He may be a eunuch, but I’ll say this about James Lankford: He has great taste in radio. 😏
Yes, in case you’re wondering, he’s talking about me. https://t.co/D7NWoPb8SX

“By the way, they have been faithful to their promise and have done everything they can to destroy me in the past several weeks.”
The bill faced opposition from former President Donald Trump and his supporters, who view immigration as crucial to his reelection.
Kelly later confirmed on social media that he was the one who threatened Lankford.
“He may be a eunuch, but I’ll say this about James Lankford: He has great taste in radio,” Kelly said. “Yes, in case you’re wondering, he’s talking about me.”
Kelly has made controversial remarks in the past, including expressing the belief that “America needs a dictator” and predicting that “the right is going to pick a fascist within 10 to 20 years” to lead the country.
