Taylor Swift’s relationship with Travis Kelce, a Kansas City Chiefs player, has garnered attention and criticism.
Speculation arose that the increased focus on Kelce due to his relationship with Swift may have impacted his performance and that of his team during the regular season.
Despite criticism, NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley defended Swift, calling out those who blamed her for any negative impact.
“If you’re screaming at Taylor Swift saying she ruined [football], you’re just a loser. You’re just a loser or a jacka–,” Barkley said.
Swift has found support from the wife of Patrick Mahomes, another Chiefs player.
Despite having a concert in Tokyo the night before, Swift plans to attend the Super Bowl, where the Chiefs will face the San Francisco 49ers.
