A recent Rasmussen Reports survey shows that 69% of likely U.S. voters support Texas erecting barriers at the border to prevent illegal immigration, with strong support from black voters and Independents.

46% approve of the Supreme Court decision allowing the Biden administration to remove these barriers, while 49% disapprove.

Rep. Clay Higgins’ statement about the federal government staging a civil war and Texas standing their ground also received majority support.

“Sixty-nine percent (69%) of Likely U.S. Voters support Texas erecting barriers at the border to prevent illegal immigrants from crossing, including 53% who Strongly Support the action,” Rasmussen Reports wrote. “Only 27% oppose Texas taking action to prevent illegal immigration[.]”

Critics of the President believe the Biden administration and Democrats are prioritizing political gain over the negative impact of unvetted immigration, with the implication that they are seeking to replace the population for political advantage.
