A plane crashed into a mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida, resulting in several fatalities.
The aircraft, a Beechcraft Bonanza V35, hit one mobile home causing fires in multiple structures.
The pilot had reported an engine failure before the crash.
Clearwater Fire wrote, “We’re on scene of a small plane crash at a mobile home park south of Clearwater Mall. Multiple mobile homes have caught fire. Firefighters from multiple jurisdictions are on scene,”
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire quickly, but the extent of injuries on the ground and the number of people on board the plane remain unclear.
