Henry Ruggs III, formerly an NFL player, is now serving a prison sentence of 36 to 120 months for driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
The incident, which occurred in 2021, resulted in the death of a Las Vegas resident and her dog.
Ruggs is currently working at Stewart Conservation Camp in Nevada, earning $2.50 an hour.
His original contract with the Raiders included a significant signing bonus.
The case involved disputes over evidence and multiple delays in court proceedings.
