A 38-year-old physical therapist in Florida, Dr. Pola Gayed, has been charged with video voyeurism and fabricating physical evidence after allegedly secretly recording a 16-year-old girl getting undressed for treatment.
The victim noticed a camera in the changing room and reported it to her parents, who then contacted the police.
Lake Wales Police Deputy Chief Troy Schulze said, “When our guys went into the make the arrest on the 29th, that Ring camera was back in the same location again just prior to our victim’s appointment.”
“Obviously, she’s shaken. She’s upset by this. She’s a 16-year-old girl. I think any adult would be shaken by that,” he continued.
Gayed deleted the footage and was arrested, with his bond set at $25,000.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking for information from anyone with relevant details.
