Country musician Elle King has postponed her performance at Billy Bob’s Texas following a controversial Dolly Parton tribute at the Grand Ole Opry.

A video of her struggling to perform Parton’s song “Marry Me” received negative feedback.

King said, “I’ll tell you one thing more, I’ll tell you one thing more. Hi, my name is Elle King. I’m f—— hammered.”

She continued, “I can barely play another person’s song, let me see if I can play one of mine.”

King, who has been open about her past struggles with sobriety, made profane remarks during the performance.

The Grand Ole Opry issued an apology for the language used.

The Grand Ole Opry posted, “We deeply regret and apologize for the language that was used during last night’s second Opry performance.”

King’s fans also expressed concern for her well-being.
