Travis Kelce clarified that his heart hands celebration during a game was not for Taylor Swift, but rather a response to disrespectful comments from Buffalo Bills fans.

He explained that some inappropriate things were said about his teammate, Patrick Mahomes, and he wanted to show that the feelings were not mutual.

Despite the association with Taylor Swift, Kelce’s gesture was aimed at the Bills fans, not the singer.

“The Bills — coming into their house, they want to make it rowdy,” Kelce said. “Did it get a little disrespectful? One-thousand percent. One-thousand percent. Did it get a little extra? One-thousand percent.”

“Some things were said about the families — some pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes. It was pretty wack,” Kelce said.

“I don’t hate you guys like you hate us,” he said. “It’s all love, baby. It’s all love.”
