Nicholas Rossi, a man extradited from Scotland to America after faking his death to avoid rape charges, has refused to appear at his latest court hearing.
He claimed to be an Irish orphan called Arthur Knight, but a sheriff in Edinburgh ruled that he was indeed Nicholas Rossi based on matching tattoos and fingerprints.
Prosecutors in Utah charged him with raping a woman in 2008, and he had been fighting the case for over two years.
Despite previously denying his identity as Nicholas Rossi, he lost his final appeal against extradition in December.
A new court date has been set for his appearance.
