A developer in Oklahoma City plans to build the tallest skyscraper in the United States as part of a complex called the Boardwalk at Bricktown.
The structure would consist of four towers, with the tallest one now planned to reach 1,907 feet.
The developers are seeking a property re-zoning to achieve this goal.
The CEO of Matteson Capital believes that the development will be an iconic destination for the city, driving economic growth and drawing in investment and jobs.
They’re making it even taller. No offence to Oklahoma City but it doesn’t exactly have the hyper-dense urban dynamic known for producing supertall skyscrapers.

“Oklahoma City is experiencing a significant period of growth and transformation, making it well-positioned to support large-scale projects like the one envisioned for Bricktown,” CEO Scot Matteson stated.
“We believe that this development will be an iconic destination for the city, further driving the expansion and diversification of the growing economy, drawing in investment, new businesses, and jobs.”
“It’s a dynamic environment and we hope to see The Boardwalk at Bricktown stand as the pride of Oklahoma City,” he said.
Oklahoma City, one of the fastest growing metropolises in the U.S., is experiencing significant growth and transformation.
The Bricktown area, where the complex is planned, is already a popular destination and home to sports arenas.
