Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos celebrated his 60th birthday with a star-studded, nerdy-themed party hosted by his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez.
The event, held at their Beverly Hills estate, featured A-list guests like Jay Z, Beyoncé, and Oprah.
An insider said, “Jeff had a huge blowout 60th private birthday party at his and Lauren’s Warner estate place in Beverly Hills.”
“Hundreds of people attended, and the guest list could have rivaled an Oscar bash with everyone from Jay Z, Beyoncé to Oprah there,” the source continued.
“Despite the number of guests, everything was kept very hush-hush and they had to put their phones in pouches as photography was banned at the event,” the source explained.
“They had Jeff’s first office set up at Amazon with his original chair, it was all really touching,” they said.
“Food at the event was catered with everything from caviar to McDonald’s on offer, a nod to Jeff’s first ever job when he was just 16,” revealed the source.
Despite a photography ban, some details emerged, including the presence of Jeff’s first Amazon office setup and a mix of high-end and nostalgic food offerings.
The couple’s affection was evident throughout the night, and social media posts from attendees like Katy Perry and Ivanka Trump confirmed the event’s success.
“Jeff and Lauren could barely keep their hands off each other all night. They looked very loved up and Bill Gates was also dancing with his new girlfriend, Paula Hurd,” said the source.
“It was a night to remember for everyone who went and guests were partying until around 3 am, with the place full of security to keep out any crashers.
“The place was also full of Amazon execs, there were so many people. Last time they had a party in the guest house, but this one was massive.”
Lauren posted, “Getting ready is sometimes the best part of the night.” she wrote on Sunday with a look at her outfit for the party.
